At The Tasting Shed, great food, wine and service are delivered in a variety of spaces perfect for a range of function styles and sizes.

The Tasting Shed is more than happy to organise parties of all types, whether they be birthdays, anniversaries, product launches or other special occasions.
If you seek a corporate function venue, The Tasting Shed also offers services for Christmas parties, company off-sites/ team-building groups, workshops and seminars.
We provide a set menu for events and functions which is comprised of a selection of our acclaimed specialty dishes. We are also happy to cater for specific dietary and allergy requirements, and we are also happy to work with your budget.
Wine and beverage options can be arranged based on your needs and audio-visual equipment can be catered for anywhere on our premises.
* Email bookings are only available for groups of 8 and above. For bookings of less than 8 please call the restaurant directly on 094126454.
Terms and Conditions :
All bookings for large groups over 8 people will be required to supply a credit card to secure the reservation, or to pay a deposit beforehand.
Final guest numbers are to be supplied to the manager a minimum of three days prior to your booking. Groups will be charged for this many people regardless of how many attend on the day as the kitchen will have catered for this many people.
For groups in the Cabana, a minimum spend of $650 is required.

The Courtesy Shuttle
Despite only being 20 minutes from downtown Auckland, sometimes its better to leave the driving to us so that you can relax and enjoy your time with us without having to think about driving!
Our courtesy shuttle seats up to 11 passengers and is free of charge as long as there are a minimum of 8 people from your group traveling in it. Just arrange for your guests to get to one central Auckland location within 30km, and we will pick you up at a pre arranged time and return you back there afterwards. We do not offer multiple trips, so if your group is larger than 11, we can suggest some other options for the rest of the guests.

2. So if I’m picking my food up, how does that work?
Simple! Once you’ve placed your order and paid online, we will prepare your food and have it waiting for you in 20 mins
3. Can I pay cash on pickup?
Sorry but no, we are not accepting cash payments for takeaway meals.
4. Why can’t I order some wine or beer with my meal?
We don’t hold an off license for alcohol, so we aren’t allowed to offer this unfortunately. But there are some amazing local beer and wine companies collaborating on delivery, so we encourage you to use them!
5. Why aren’t you offering you usual menu?
As much as we would love to go back to normal, sadly many of our past shed dishes won’t travel well if they aren’t eaten within a short timeframe of our chefs plating them. We’d prefer to give you some shed classics that will still taste amazing even if they took a bit longer to be eaten
6. How many dishes should I order?
That depends on how hungry you are. We recommend 3 dishes to be shared between 2 people. So if you’re feeding a family of four, you might want to order a couple of the same dishes so everyone is enjoying the same meal or perhaps order all six dishes so that everyone gets to try a bit of everything. And don’t forget dessert!
If you are ordering our shed picnic, it feeds 2 people.
The Living Room is the largest venue on The Tasting Shed’s premises, seating up to 40 guests at any one time.
The rustic, country aesthetics have been intentionally preserved with the use of natural and recycled materials throughout. The furnishings are full of character and you’ll find that the interiors’ details evoke images of their own unique and varied histories.
